When a site which is being put into operation is concerned, the parameters to be tested are defined on a case-by-case basis, the most frequently tested ones being:

• Testing of the insulation resistance of low voltage cables
• Impulse resistance of lightning protection systems of buildings
• Resistance of lightning protection systems /panels, power substations, metal constructions, machinery and equipment/
• Impedance Zs of the ‘Phase-protective conductor’ contour and neutral earthing of electric outlets
• Residual current protection, protective circuit breakers, starting current, starting time, ground conductor resistance and contact tensions
• Insulation testing of cable lines of up to 20kV which have not been in use over 24 hours, or a break-down has occurred, by using raised constant voltage
• Insulation resistance of transformers
• Artificial lighting system – luminosity, lx;
• Microclimate – air temperature, air velocity, relative air humidity;
• Noise – daily personalized noise exposure, average weekly value of personal exposure, noise level and equivalent noise level;
• Ventilation installations – velocity of air movement, flow;
• Air-conditioning installations – air temperature and relative air humidity;

• Impulse resistance of lightning protection systems of buildings – at the substations the evaluation is done at least once in 3 years and at the shops once a year.
• Resistance of lightning protection systems /panels, power substations, metal constructions, machinery and equipment/ – at the substations and at the shops the evaluation is done once a year.
• Impedance Zs of the ‘Phase-protective conductor’ contour and neutral earthing of electric outlets – as planned by the relevant electric regulation or by the decision of the power engineer , but not longer than 5 years.
• Insulation resistance of transformers – decided by the power engineer but at least once in 3 years
• Periodicity of control for physical factors of the work environment are determined by the period according to which valuation of the work place is realized.

A date for visiting and testing of the site by our team of specialists can be set either in writing or after a conversation. Normally it would be done in 2 -3 working days after the request was made. We are entirely capable of carrying out an express order if a client needs an urgent evaluation and records of the proceedings.

The exact time of the evaluation is set in a conversation with the client. Our specialists do a preliminary inspection of the site in order to define the parameters to be tested and enlist them in an Evaluation Request Form, which serves as a contract between the client and the Evaluation body. Besides the parameters to be tested, the Evaluation Request Form indicates the date on which the records of the proceedings together with the results of the testing are due, as well as the cost of the service. The Evaluation Request Form is then signed by the client as a guarantee that they accept the offer. A copy of it is given to the client. The evaluation begins immediately after this procedure. The evaluation time varies depending on the size and type of the site. For example, a medium-sized shop is evaluated in 2 hours and a medium-sized building – in one working day.

The preparation of the records of the evaluation takes 2 – 3 working days. This time may be prolonged with no more than 2 working days iin the case of a significantly high amount of equipment for testing. The client receives a set of recordings with the relevant enclosures. The Evaluation Body keeps a copy of them in its archives for a period of 5 years. The validity of the records is determined by the regularity of the evaluations; see Regularity of Evaluations of Operating Sites.

The price depends on the size of the site and is calculated considering the pricelist for the different parameters that are to be tested. An offer can be sent to the client only after a concrete enquiry has been made. The payment can be done in cash at our office on receiving the records of the evaluation or by bank before receiving them and after the client has been sent a proforma invoice.
